Nancy O'Dell started her career in broadcasting by working as a reporter at WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later, she was a morning news anchor on WCBD TV and acted as an investigative reporter. O'Dell's reports in Charleston regarding the police's tolerance regarding DUI cases led to a State Law Enforcement Division to investigate. The result was state authorities issuing more strict regulations in these cases. Ms. O'Dell was awarded her Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. After her time in Charleston, O'Dell worked as anchor for NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV and as an investigative journalist. After that, she became a part of Access Hollywood to work as the weekend and weekday correspondent. In addition to her current role as anchor for Access Hollywood Ms. O'Dell is also an anchor for NBC News' Today and as well to Dateline NBC. She's covered events like The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards, as well co-hosting Pre ShowArrivals shows at The Emmys. She also hosted Miss USA's pageant, as and the Miss Universe Pageant.
